Meet David D. Moore

David is a trial lawyer with experience in the areas of Juvenile and Family Law, including Tribal matters involving the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA). He has built his practice by offering the highest levels of integrity, compassion, and legal knowledge to families in crisis, offering services related to divorce, child custody, equitable distribution, child support, and domestic violence. Additionally, he has extensive experience in all matters of civil litigation, including contractual disputes, employment law, municipal matters, and general liability issues. He has also represented clients in cases involving personal injury, Workers’ Compensation, and Social Security Disability claims.

David was born and raised in Sylva. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Appalachian State University in 1994, and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Memphis in 2000. Licensed to practice in North Carolina and Tennessee, in both State and Federal Courts, David is a member of the American, North Carolina, and Tennessee Bar Associations. He is an avid sports fan, a dedicated father of three, and an active community servant.
